    Product Manager - LED Lamps & Fixtures:   
    Our LED product line is our fastest growing product family and MaxLite is committed to establishing a strong leadership presence in the Solid State Lighting Market, requiring strong New Product Development for long-term growth.

    MaxLite has an immediate opportunity for an LED Product Manager located in its Fairfield, NJ location. This position will include management of existing products and development of future LED fixtures and systems. Successful candidates will have strong understanding of the selling process with experience directly supporting customers, sales, government agencies, and utility managers with technical product specifications, product selection, system design, reliability, and manufacturing processes. Candidates will also have a strong understanding of and experience with LED-based systems design including optical, thermal, and electrical design elements to assist customers in their application specific LED designs.

    Key Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated understanding of LED technology, design, government regulatory requirements and commercial /retail customer applications
  • Work with the sales and marketing to identify new product opportunities to drive sustainable growth and profitability
  • Managing new product development and introductions
  • Establish strong relationships with certifying agencies, commercial and industrial channels customers, and utility authorities
  • Able to train and communicate technical data to sales and customers
  • High degree of creativity, ability to influence and convert concept to viable solutions
  • Self motivator with strong drive to achieve business objectives
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional departments


    • Qualifications:

    - BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Advanced degree in Physics
    - 2-4 years Experience in LED components, testing, Solid State Light Systems and Product Management
    - Strong problem solving, analytical capabilities with project management
    - PC literate (MS Word, Excel, Power-point, Outlook, etc)
    - Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
